A BRAHMARISHI HILLS

OM JAY GURUVEY THUNAI
BRAHMARISHI HILLS
This place is situated in Chennai - Trichy national highway near Perambalur at the footstep of Brahmarishi hills near Elambalur village.
HE ORIGIN AND HISTORY OF SRI KAGANNAI ESWARAR HOLY TEMPLE
One day when i was in deep-contemplation, i perceived with infinite joy a divine-child of extraordinary beauty and radiance gazing at me while lying on my lap! Even as i was looking at it, the sheer brilliant light that emanated from the child, hindered my sight and immediately i prayed to my Guru and sought his help, where upon with his guidance i could once again see the child and was surprised to see embossed on the chest a golden-hued Linga that radiated effervescent - Light and simultaneously i perceived all the Siddhars surrounding me and the child and saying that they were very happy to note that i was caught in the Love and embrace of  Lord Siva. Even now whenever i recollect the Maha Siddhar’s blessing’s the hairs on my entire body stands on end with utmost feeling of joy and gratitude!
On the very next day, a dear devotee of mine Rathivelu based of Singapore called me and told of the wonderful dream he had in which he saw Lord Siva in the form of Dakshinamoorthy  towering as tall as the Brahma rishi - hill and claimed that he had out of Grace selected that very hill to manifest in combination of Sri Kagapusundar and Annai as Sri Kagannai eshwarar and would be known as ‘Kagannaisaram’ and would thus establish ‘Jnanam’(wisdom), ’Arul’(Grace) and ‘Dharmam’(“universal order of Righteousness”) and make it flourish in this world. Lord Siva had thus shown his desire to reside in the temple to be built and consecrated on the blessed hill.
As per the Divine instruction, the Lord Sri Kagannai Eswarar’s Temple took form on the Brahmarishi-hill. Even as the Holy Temple was being constructed by utilizing black granite-stones and the finishing holy-designs and touches were being completed, once again the Siddhar Himself came in the form of Lord Siva in the month of ‘Masi’ (February) ‘Amavasai’(new-moon day) and instructed that the temple should be consecrated within 60 days and as per the Lord’s wishes a particular day in the month of june has been selected for the Holy Consecration (‘Kumbabishekam’).
The ‘Selva Maha Vetri Ganapathi’ Holy-Temple that existed previously had been pacified (‘Shanti’) by performing ‘palalayam’ and in addition Lord Siva and Siddhar Holy-Temple constructed presently. Every day at dawn, noon and at dusk,’Yaagas’ (Holy Sacrifical-Fire) are performed for the 210 Siddhars and ‘Annadhanam’(free food) is served to all the worshippers, the elderly and the poor who assemble there.
The Lord Sri Kagannai Eswarar is the father of Lord Shani Bhagavan (Saturn) and thus would absolve the worshipper’s sins caused by Lord Shani’s influence (‘Shani-dosham’). The sins and difficulties caused by the bad influence of  all the stars and all previous life karmas and curses would be absolved for ones who worship here. All the ‘Maya’, ’Mantra’, ’Tantra’, ’Yantra’ and ‘Enthira’ powers are surpassed by the power of the Brahmarishi-hill and the fortunate few who are able to personally visit the Hill and attain tremendous gains do not understand the significance and only myself and the my Father Bhagavan Sri Kagapusundar alone realize the Exalted-Truth!

THE GREAT MYSTIC-POWERS OF THE SIDDHARS AS TOLD BY ‘PAMPATTI SIDDHAR’
The Siddhars could hold and shake eight deadly serpents in their hands, order Indran the Lord of the devas or angels to show and display the world at the desired place and control and bring under his spell snakes which are uncontrollable.                 Moreover even if it were ‘Adisheshan’ the king of snakes on whom Lord Vishnu reclines, the Siddhars would be able to hold it in their hands control it within the limits of universal-justice and shake it, thus literally able to shake the universe! They can turn a pillar into a small particle and turn the small particle to materialize as a mighty pillar. Convert the three worlds ( the upper, the middle which contains our world and the lower world) into gold; turn the red-light into their light (attain the body of radiant-Light); de-materialize this vast world; have the ability to create like and unlike what the Creator had done; bring the Creator to bid according to his desires and live with equanimity with the Primal Lord!
Siddhars know the ‘64 kalai’ (or ‘arts’ or  “branches of knowledge”  that include astrology, astronomy, grammar, painting, dancing, music, sculpting, fighting, engineering, medicine etc., in fact all worldly knowledge broadly known as ‘apara-vidhai’) and above this know one more  ‘kalai’ ( which is known as ‘Para-vidhai’ or Divine-wisdom or the wisdom of the Lord). They possess the power to  convert a man into a woman and the woman into a man. They can throw the eight mountains as if they were a ball. Drink the waters of the seven seas . Hide and make the global-spheres disappear utilizing only their hands. Bend the entire sky into a bow. Explain the significance and logic of zero or emptiness to the pupil. Dip into roaring fires and be with a mental frame of desiring for any worldly materials, pleasures nor desires. Order and command the growling tiger, angry elephant and ‘Yazhi’ (dragon) and make them dance and play along with the Lord! All these powers are at the command of the Siddhars says the Maha Pambatti Siddhar!

JNANA VASISHTA or YOGA VASISHTA
The Holy Sage Brahmarishi Vasishta the ‘Kula Guru’ or the Spiritual-Master of the entire Ishwaku dynasty also known as the ‘Raghu Vamsa’ gave his Upadesa (Spiritual-initiation) to Lord Rama at this exalted revered Holy place known as ‘Thittakudi’ and known as ‘Thiru Vathittakudi’ in the ancient past after the Sage who in Tamil is known as ‘Vatthitar’. (like the Sage Agasthya in Tamil is known as ‘Agatthiyar’).
The young prince Lord Rama was greatly distressed and perturbed after seeing much sorrow and suffering in the land and the Sage Vasishta initiated him with deep insights in  ‘Advaita tattva’ which is the Oneness of God and there being nothing in existence apart from God. The Yoga Vasishta has 32,000 slokas in 64,000 lines and one very significant sloka tells that like the agitated waters of a pond reflect a multitude forms of the moon, in a similar manner the One God is seen in multitude forms when the mind is agitated.
The exalted Sage Vasishta explains in detail the various techniques and nuances of Ashtanga-Yoga (eight limbs of Yoga) and when Lord Rama hears that it is possible to transcend space and time and attain immortality and to remain young as long as one wishes known as ‘Saha kalai’ in Tamil and to welcome death at the time one desires known as ‘iccha mrityu’ in Sanskrit, Lord Rama asks how is this possible and whether he had met such a person. The Sage Vasishta says: “ Yes! I have met such a person. He is known as ‘Kagabhujenda’ (Kagabhujendar in Tamil). He is said to be in the form of a ‘Andamkaka’ or a black-raven or crow, but it actually means he is the “one who protects the universe”, ‘andam’ – universe; ‘kaka’ – protects. He lives in a cave north-east of the Kailash mountain. He welcomed me in all his youthfull, glorious golden radiant-form. He has witnessed 7500 ‘Pralayas’ or global-level destructions which take place at the end of every ‘Kalpa’ (eon) which is a period of 4.32 billion years being a day-time for the Creator Lord Brahma. When I asked him how was it possible for him to live for such a long period of time retaining his youthfull-form,he said: “ I live the present moment to its full,I watch the intervening-gap between the breathing-pattern of exhalation and inhalation which is eternity and is the infinite-state of the Lord! “

THE BENEFITS ATTAINED BY CONSTRUCTING  A SIVA TEMPLE
The person who gets into the act of constructing a Holy-Temple is absolved of all his sins acquired over a thousand of his previous births.
Even if the idea of constructing a Holy-Temple dawns in a person’s mind he would be absolved of sins acquired over a hundred births and he would be redeemed.
By building a Holy-Temple for the Lord, a person is absolved of the ‘Brahmaheti’ sin (acquired by killing a Brahmin or a Cow). The gains acquired are even greater than by performing karmas like performing Yaagas. The merits gained by bathing in Divine-waters are acquired by building a Holy-Temple. The Paradise-world attained by war-heroes who fight and expire on battle-fields for the justice of Devas  (Angels) are attained by persons who build Holy-Temples even if they were not qualified by not having knowledge of the Vedas and Shastras.
A person attains the Paradise-world by building a Holy-Temple. By building three Holy-Temples, he attains the ‘Brahma loka’ ( the realm of Lord Brahma the Creator). By building five Holy-Temples, he goes to ‘Kailash’, the realm of Lord Siva. By building eight Holy-Temples, he goes to ‘Vaikuntam’ the realm of Lord Narayana. By constructing sixteen Holy-Temples the person attains all the merits that are to be acquired and attains eternal salvation by not having been to take birth again and acquires Divine-peace.
A person who builds a big Holy-Temple acquires ‘mukti’ or liberation from the endless cycle of birth and death. The one who builds an ordinary Temple attains the Vaikunta loka. The person who builds a small Temple attains the heavenly-world.
There is no limit to the fame to be attained by a person who constructs a Holy-Temple for Lord Vishnu, Lord Rudra and Lord Surya (the Sun-God). Any amount of wealth gained by a person who does not satisfy his dead forefathers, Brahmins, Devas or his near and dear ones would be of no use to him. At least a part of his wealth earned by him should be utilized to construct a Holy-Temple.
Just as death is certain, destruction also is a certainity. The person who constructs a Holy-Temple or one who had built a Holy-Statue for the Lord is never ever troubled by Lord Yama (the God of death) and his orders to his messengers is never to convey such persons to his world.            Lord Yama has further instructed his deputies to never even go near devotees who constantly think of the Lord, those who constantly sing praises of the Lord and those who daily perform archanas and offer flowers and perform abishekam (consecration) to the Lord in Holy-Temples. Yama’s deputies are not to even go near the off-spring and descendants of persons who had constructed Holy-Temples! Such is the noble-merits acquired by building Holy-Temples!

All the exalted Siddhars (perfected beings) whom we cherish and worship themselves protect, praise and worship Mother-Nature which is the subtle and powerful form of God and continuously creates all forms of life. They having realized every aspect of nature to be an Angelic and Divine-Form of God have organized varied ways to worship them and taught me those intricate-nuances and mantras (powerful potent words which help one to be protected as well as gain the blessings and Grace of the Gods) to appease them. The Siddhars knowing very well that nature is none other than the ‘Shakthi’ or power of God which permeates all forms of life, from the ‘lowest’ form of life like the worm, grass, shrubs, birds and beasts to the ‘higher’ form of life like man, have always shown and showered their compassion on them. The manifestation of this compassion is ‘Dharma’ (righteousness, universal or cosmic-order).
This compassion alone is the form of worship of the Siddhars. Their ‘Jiva Karunyam’ or compassion and love towards all forms of life to their full magnitude manifests in them which results in the rise of the ‘Kundalini Shakthi’ (the subtle and latent-form of the cosmic-energy that lies coiled at the ‘muladhara-chakra’ at the base of the spinal-column). This cosmic-force or energy which is the Power of God awakens the chakras which are whirlpools of energy and ‘Wisdom-centers’ and let the Siddhars attain the ‘Attama’ or ‘Ashtanga Siddhis’ which are the eight major supernatural powers as well as realize all divine-secrets and gain the ‘Kayakalpa’ secrets which allows man to conquer death and live as a youth as long as he pleases. This is the reason for the Siddhars to claim ‘Anbe Sivam’ - God to be in the form of love and compassion. Otherwise they could have claimed God to be in the form of Power or material-products! Without realizing this, mankind hoardes unlimited amounts of money, gold and properties without helping the poor and needy. How on earth would Mother-Nature which is the power of God in any way help or assist them?  It is the foremost duty of every human being to be of use and help all forms of life and when he shirks his duty, all sorrows and misries descend on him. The only antidote to eradicate mankind of his misries is to provide food to the poor and hungry to his foremost capacity and in accordance to his income. This method is an easy but powerful one and this alone is the ‘Taraka mantra’ or life’s goal of ‘Annai Siddhar’ Thiru Rajakumar Swamigal!
”The Powers of God duly follow the person who possesses love and compassion in his heart” – Mathaji Radha
To cross over safely across the treacherous sea that is life that comes in endless cycles and attain salvation (which according to the Siddhars who are the ‘perfected-beings’ is to attain the state of not being born again) the simplest and best remedy is to provide free food to at least a hundred thousand poor and hungry people in one’s lifetime. And further it is said that with love, kindness and compassion in one’s heart, inducing and encouraging others to perform dharmam (performing noble charitable-acts the noblest being feeding the poor and hungry) is the highest form of Dharma (righteousness,universal-code or law) !
Hence by performing this meritorious, kind, compassionate and noble act which is feeding the poor and hungry, the benefits of  performing Yogic-meditation,Jnana (divine-wisdom),Siddhis (divine supernatural-powers gained by attaining perfection) everything come on their own accord without undue effort.
What did you bring to the earth when you were born? What are you going to take back after you die? Why these vanities and luxuries? Why are you bringing worries and sorrows on yourself? Happiness, joy, ecstasy, wonders are all your hidden-treasures to be unravelled! Discard yourself of your sins and constantly perform meritorious-acts! Do not go in search of God! Be God! “ Anbe Sivam” – “God is in the Form of Love”!
